Medical

As a Capco employee you are eligible to participate in medical coverage.  This coverage includes but not limited to medical, preventive care services, inpatient and outpatient services, chiropractic care and prescription coverages. When electing medical coverage through Capco, you are automatically enrolled in Appleton Clinics (Allowing employees and family members to visit a PCP and participate in basic pharmaceutical at no additional charge to employees.)

Dental

Our dental coverage helps pay for necessary dental care, including routine cleanings, oral exams, fluoride treatments and X-rays, as well as many basic and major restorative services such as orthodontia.

Vision

Our vision coverage helps pay for eye exams, contact lenses, eyeglasses and frames.

Capco believes in promoting your financial wellness.  That’s why we developed various savings vehicles for you to participate in as a Capco employee.

Savings

Profit sharing is a way Capco sets aside monies for each employee based on the annual company performance.

401K allows you to save for retirement through payroll deductions.  This is an employee contribution vehicle for you to set aside a savings for retirement on a before-tax basis.

If you are newly hired, you may be automatically enrolled as soon as 60 days.

Life Insurance

You’re automatically covered for employer-paid basic life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.  You may elect to purchase additional coverage for yourself and/or your dependents.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts (FSAs) are easy ways to reduce your taxes and increase your spendable income.

PTO (Paid Time Off)

Full-time employees accrue 40 hours of PTO after 1 year of employment.  Thereafter, 40 hours of PTO accrue every 6 months of employment until an employee completes 8 years of employment at which time 80 PTO hours will accrue on the anniversary date and 40 hours every 6 months following the anniversary date of hire.

 

 

Paid Holidays

Capco offers 8 paid holidays to employees (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Employee Birthday).  Eligibility is 90 calendar days after their hire date, with the exception of the employee birthday holiday, which is earned after completing 1 full year of service.

Essential Functions (including but not limited to)

  • Work with Materials Manager, Production Manager, and other team leads to prioritize materials requirements to ensure the production schedule is met.
  • Solicit bids, analyze quotes received and negotiate with vendors for goods and services while negotiating the best possible price and service guarantee for vendor selection.
  • Work with Materials Manager to develop purchase contracts for suppliers to ensure competitive business practices.
  • Forecast, plans, and develop purchase orders for specific products; sources new suppliers where vendors are inadequate.
  • Supply Chain Requirements: Proactively transact daily activities to support delivery requirements while managing assigned commodities for lowest total cost purchasing, regulating inventory levels, and achieving targeted turns ratios.
  • Establish purchasing policies and ensure compliance.
  • Trace delinquent purchase orders, late deliveries, and engages management for solutions.
  • Work with Capco Program Management Office to examine new product solicitations to assist in awarding new business.
  • Establish Vendor account/credit and terms.
  • Coordinate, validate, and execute submission of Supplier Scorecards monthly/quarterly.
  • Negotiate blanket purchase orders when appropriate and monitor cost and delivery accuracy during the time period.
  • Comply with safety and company guidelines on business ethics.
  • Control inventory levels to sustain operations, establish control through assessing and calculating inventory needs.
  • Implement supply cost and inventory control solutions to control cost, improve cash flow and margins to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Consult with manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and representatives concerning product and supply chain non-conformances.
  • Capability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability in negotiation and validated supplier management skills
  • Demonstrates Microsoft Office Proficiency (Excel/Word/Access/Outlook)
  • Analyze purchasing requirements against applicable technical data and drawings
  • Schedule purchase orders for blanket purchase order delivery requirements against contract requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Previous Access experience

Purpose of the Role:

This role is a support position for the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple disciplines/organizations. It will play an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation.

  • Challenge the status quo, identify and implement creative continuous improvements:
    • Analyze current business operations and recommend solutions for solving outdated manufacturing methodologies
    • Leverage knowledge of organizational roles and responsibilities and act as a liaison between departments to get buy in and execute improvement solutions
    • Utilize and implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies
    • Develop and implement corporate policy on continuous improvement methods and efficiencies
    • Responsible for successful program and project management (Gantt charts and milestone setting)
    • Train, coach, mentor a continuous improvement culture
    • Track and display efficiency gains from continuous improvement solutions
  • Champion
    • Champion and collaborate with others to build cohesive cross departmental relationships
    • Create, plan, coach, train and provide leadership to Capco staff on continuous improvement projects
    • Facilitate and help plan operations workshops which support customer needs
  • Financial Goals
    • Develop detailed continuous improvement project plans
    • Responsible for operational financial performance
    • Track and report operation performance metrics for each continuous improvement project
  • Must uphold Capco Standards and Specifications, and abide by Capco LLC rules, regulations and attendance requirements

  • Lead and facilitate LEAN/Process Improvement based workshops
  • Identify industry best practices, trends, changes to improve Capco LLC continuous improvement system
  • Knowledge of and implementation of Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems

  • Demonstrated success challenging the status quo and implementing sustainable continuous improvements
  • Proven experience team building and working interdepartmentally to achieve objectives
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
