Medical

When electing medical coverage through Capco, you are automatically enrolled in Appleton Clinics (Allowing employees and family members to visit a PCP and participate in basic pharmaceutical at no additional charge to employees.)

Dental

Savings

Profit sharing is a way Capco sets aside monies for each employee based on the annual company performance.

401K allows you to save for retirement through payroll deductions.  This is an employee contribution vehicle for you to set aside a savings for retirement on a before-tax basis.

If you are newly hired, you may be automatically enrolled as soon as 60 days.

Life Insurance

You’re automatically covered for employer-paid basic life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.  You may elect to purchase additional coverage for yourself and/or your dependents.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts (FSAs) are easy ways to reduce your taxes and increase your spendable income.

PTO (Paid Time Off)

Full-time employees accrue 40 hours of PTO after 1 year of employment.  Thereafter, 40 hours of PTO accrue every 6 months of employment until an employee completes 8 years of employment at which time 80 PTO hours will accrue on the anniversary date and 40 hours every 6 months following the anniversary date of hire.

 

 

Paid Holidays

Capco offers 8 paid holidays to employees (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Employee Birthday).  Eligibility is 90 calendar days after their hire date, with the exception of the employee birthday holiday, which is earned after completing 1 full year of service.

Welder III Job Description

 Essential Functions (include but not limited to)

  • Mechanical Assembly
  • Manual Machine Operations
  • Ability to inspect components using micrometers, calipers, part specific gages and pin gages
  • High frequency of heavy lifting (maximum weight 50lbs)
  • High frequency of gripping/reaching
  • Manual dexterity is highly necessary
  • Ability to manage multiple on-going tasks
  • Daily use of math skills (decimal, fraction and conversion)
  • Ability to follow written work instructions
  • Operation complex mechanical machines and/or processes
  • Perform tooling adjustments, wire changes, basic equipment upkeep
  • Basic troubleshooting of fixtures, tooling and equipment
  • Perform machine maintenance for daily use (i.e. coolant level/flow, oil and fluid levels, equipment cleanliness)
  • Other duties as directed
  • Must meet Capco attendance requirements
  • Must be dependable and punctual
  • Operate Manual Tig Welder:
    • Assemble and fit clamp parts into various weld fixtures.
    • Inspect finished weldments with calipers and gauging to ensure specifications for the DOD Tech Data are met.
    • Certify per M205 Contract Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
  • Ability to use calipers and perform visual weld inspection
  • In-process inspection
  • Must exceed expected throughput of production goals
  • Ability to perform all part variations
  • Train / qualify on Level II gages for manual and robotic weld processes plus required destructive test methods for any weld process
  • Provide Level I & II quality mentoring
  • Maintain 100% throughput
  • Maintain 3 or fewer reject tags per year
  • Must achieve Certified Operator status on at least three processes
