Savings

Profit sharing is a way Capco sets aside monies for each employee based on the annual company performance.

401K allows you to save for retirement through payroll deductions.  This is an employee contribution vehicle for you to set aside a savings for retirement on a before-tax basis.

If you are newly hired, you may be automatically enrolled as soon as 60 days.

Life Insurance

You’re automatically covered for employer-paid basic life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.  You may elect to purchase additional coverage for yourself and/or your dependents.

PTO (Paid Time Off)

Full-time employees accrue 40 hours of PTO after 1 year of employment.  Thereafter, 40 hours of PTO accrue every 6 months of employment until an employee completes 8 years of employment at which time 80 PTO hours will accrue on the anniversary date and 40 hours every 6 months following the anniversary date of hire.

 

 

Paid Holidays

Capco offers 8 paid holidays to employees (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Employee Birthday).  Eligibility is 90 calendar days after their hire date, with the exception of the employee birthday holiday, which is earned after completing 1 full year of service.

  • The Deputy RiSCO reports to the RiSCO and is responsible for managing the regulatory compliance, security, and Organizational Risk Management (ORM) requirements fulfillment activities within Capco in direct support of the RiSCO.
  • Responsibilities of the position include managing the company’s day-to-day activities to fulfill safety, security and compliance responsibilities under the following referenced documents and Capco controls embedded in Specifications and other controlled documents:

  • In partnership with, or standing in for the RiSCO, the Deputy leads compliance efforts; designs and implements internal controls through creation or revision of Capco Specs; monitors compliance with local, state, federal, and DoD laws and regulations; designs and performs audits and investigations into regulatory and compliance issues; and assists the RiSCO respond to requests for information from regulatory bodies; and co-hosts Regulatory Audits, Examinations and other scheduled and unscheduled visits.
  • By ensuring that Capco’s policies and practices are in compliance with industry regulations and standards, the Deputy RiSCO helps to protect the integrity of Capco’s business operations and reputation.
  • The Deputy RiSCO serves as the primary party to educate employees and implementing best-practices that will ensure the highest possible level of awareness of the requirements and achievement of full compliance.

 

Other Job Functions:

  • Assist, or take the lead, in the development and implementation of compliance-related policies and procedures throughout the organization including Capco’s Risk, Security and Compliance programs and its Environmental Stewardship initiatives.
  • Act as the liaison and internal champion on risk and compliance requirements; and, works to develop enduring cross-functional partnership to help ensure those requirements are understood and policy objectives are met throughout CAPCO.
  • Assist in the management of and approval of the design of security systems; including day-to-day oversight of Capco’s security contractors as they implement enhanced security measures. .
  • Assist or take the lead in one or more critical RiSCO functions – Physical Security, BATF license management, AA&E facilities and AECA/ITAR compliance or fulfilment task; or other functions performed in Capco’s Risk, Security and Compliance space.
  • Oversee identity and access management (IAM) policies and systems (MagLoc access, badging, incident management).
  • Assist or take the lead in the conduct of internal surveys, reviews and/or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are implemented, followed and identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation.
  • Oversee compliance with RiSCO reporting requirements related to compliance matters including development compliance matrices [VisibleThread] and ensure that reporting calendars are up-to-date and reports are submitted on time.
  • Serve, as required, as a point of contact for employees seeking clarification on issues or dilemmas, or report irregularities.
  • Oversee curriculum and courseware development; and, interface with the Capco Training function to ensure appropriate ‘hard skills’ training is provided to employees directly engaged in security, safety or compliance fulfilment activities.
  • As directed, disseminate policies and procedures related to compliance activities and maintain documentation of compliance activities.
  • Assist in, or take the lead, in overseeing the conduct of internal investigation of compliance or security issues.
  • Establish effective liaison and provide orientation/training or other communication to ensure that Capco organizations understand their responsibilities and accountabilities under the law and have included compliance provisions in their controlled documents (e.g., Specifications, Forms).
  • Collaborate with the RiSCO to identify and assess emerging compliance issues for regular discussions with management, supervision and affected employees.
  • Develop and maintain a basic knowledge and ability to assess changes of DFARS, ITAR, NIST, OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.
  • Assist in development emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Assist, as directed, in the preparation of contracts and contract amendments to ensure compliance with regulations and legislation.
  • Ensure maintenance and retention of documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes.
  • Stay informed of industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of changes on Capco processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in at least two (2) of the following subject areas: regulatory compliance, safety, risk management/assessment, security, engineering, and/or DoD contract management.
  • Within 1 year, develop proficiency in two or more of the following critical areas of knowledge – AECA/ITAR, OSHA, FAR/DFAR and two elements of Security (Cyber, InfoSec, OpSec, Physical).
  • Within 1 year, develop proficiency in two or more Regulatory areas (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, PCI, NIST, OFCCP, or GLBA compliance)
